Business Broadband

Business broadband packages are specifically tailored towards companies who require a faster connection that an average home user.

We provide the following broadband packages to provide fast and efficient broadband to all our business customers. We can provide a variety of broadband packages to suit your business requirements and these include:

• Superfast Fibre Broadband – This is ideal for providing high speeds of up to 80MB

• Leased Line (Ethernet First Mile) – This acts as a dedicated line which is installed purely for internet connectivity.

• ADSL2+ Broadband – This is an upgraded version of a ADSL broadband line which provides business users with significantly faster business broadband speeds than a traditional ADSL connection.

It is really easy to move your business broadband to Town & Country and all you need to do is to confirm to us that you wish to proceed to migrating your business broadband over to us and we will take care of the rest!

Business broadband can usually be connected at the same time as the analogue line is installed, however, if you require a new broadband at any other time it usually takes around 5-7 working days. Again, the work is carried out by BT Openreach.

We can supply a pre-configured router or you can supply your own router. Technical support can be obtained over the telephone via either ourselves or via your IT support team. Just give us a call if you need any assistance whatsoever in setting up your business broadband.

We recommend that you conduct a speed test by entering your telephone number to BT’s Broadband checker, which will provide you with an estimate on what kind of broadband speeds that you can expect to receive at your business premises.

Town & Country will look to provide you with the fastest broadband connection speed that is available, but the actual speed of your broadband will depend on a variety of factors such as the proximity of the local phone exchange in relation to your business, the quality of your phone line and how much traffic that line (or indeed the exchange itself) is receiving.

How much you pay depends on which business broadband package you require. Broadband costs typically start from £20 per month.

We will provide you with details on what is included in your business broadband package before you sign up to receive business broadband with Town & Country. We police our customer’s broadband usage and if there is any excessive usage or if you are running close to your limit we will inform you.

We will install a new broadband connection and cease your existing connection.

Please contact a member of the Town & Country team and we can discuss your requirements with you. Typically, you can expect to re-grade to a new business broadband connection within 5 working days.

Please report all faults to the Town & Country team in the first instance. In the event of a line fault or any interference on the line, please contact us asap. ‘Standard Care’ is provided on all lines and we aim to respond to all issues by the end of the next working day + 1 (Monday – Friday, excluding public holidays and Bank Holidays).

Increased support levels are available which offer a six hour repair turnaround after logging your fault (Care Level 4) or a repair the same day, if logged before 1pm (Care Level 3).

A member of the Town & Country team will liaise with you and will assess the situation and will try and fix the issue with the line. If this isn’t resolvable in the first instance, Town & Country will escalate this to BT Openreach who will send an engineer to visit your site to resolve this on our behalf.
